Are press-ons better than acrylics?
Better for your natural nail, because nothing gets drilled away, and better for your schedule, because you apply them yourself in about ten minutes. Acrylics still win on maximum length and on fills over several weeks.
What should a custom set cost?
Hand-painted, made-to-order sets from an independent artist usually cost more than a drugstore box because every nail is painted by hand. Here, custom sets run $60–$70 depending on detail, before add-ons.
Can you wear press-ons to work?
Yes, if you pick short square or almond and skip the tallest sculpted charms. Length is what gets in the way of typing, not the fact that they're press-ons.
